Same lighting, same face, different tissue — because the right depth and the right settings make the laser shine.
My right side before treatment, mirrored beside the same right side exactly one week later, so it's an apples-to-apples comparison. Sculptra placed at the right depth lifted the mid-cheek shadow, BBL Heroic pulled out brown spots and redness along the cheek and jaw, and Moxi smoothed the crepey texture under the eye and around the nasolabial fold.

What is PRX Glow?
PRX Glow is a treatment with PRX-T33, a topical formula developed in Italy by WiQo that blends TCA with hydrogen peroxide and kojic acid. It's massaged into the skin rather than injected, and it's designed to stimulate collagen and brighten tone without the peeling and downtime of a traditional chemical peel.
Does it peel, and is there downtime?
It's a no-peel treatment. Skin usually looks pink and feels tight for a few hours, and some people notice mild flaking or dryness over the following days. Most people go back to work, errands and makeup the same day or the next.
Who is a good candidate?
People who want brighter, firmer, better-quality skin without recovery time. Because it's needle-free and works on all skin tones and types, it also suits anyone who has been told a laser is not the right fit for their skin right now. It can be used year round, including through the summer.
What does the appointment feel like?
Your skin is cleansed, then the solution is massaged in for several minutes in layers. Expect warmth and a tingling or stinging sensation that settles quickly once the massage is finished. Plan on roughly thirty minutes in the room.
How many treatments will I need?
PRX is usually done as a short series spaced about a week apart, then maintained every few months. Victoria and Dr. Petro will map the number that fits your skin at your visit rather than selling you a set package sight unseen.
How should I care for my skin afterward?
Keep it simple for the first few days: a gentle cleanser, generous moisturizer, and daily broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher. Skip retinoids, acids, scrubs and waxing for about five days, and avoid heavy sweating, hot tubs, saunas and direct sun for the first twenty-four to forty-eight hours. Don't pick at any flaking.
Can PRX be combined with my other September treatments?
Often yes, but timing matters around BBL, Moxi, Halo and injectables. We sequence it for you rather than guessing — bring your current plan to the consultation and we'll build the order.
When should I book a consultation instead of booking the treatment?
Book a consultation first if you're pregnant or nursing, have active acne, eczema, rosacea flares, cold sores, open or irritated skin, a known sensitivity to salicylates or peel ingredients, recent isotretinoin use, or if you're planning other treatments or an event soon. If anything about your skin concerns you, a consultation with Dr. Petro is the right first step.

What's the difference between BBL and Moxi?
BBL is light — it goes after color: brown spots, redness, the freckling that showed up after one too many lake summers. Moxi is a gentle fractional laser — it goes after texture and tone: fine lines, dullness, early sun damage. Color and quality. Together they do what neither does alone.
What does 'buy your face, get your neck free' mean?
During September Laser Days, when you purchase a full-face BBL ($450) or Moxi ($700), your neck treatment is included at no extra charge. Face and neck normally run separately; this special treats them as one. Because your neck deserves the same glow your face gets.
Will I look like I had something done?
You'll look like you slept, drank water, and moved somewhere with better weather. That's the point of this pair — it doesn't change your face, it changes your skin.
How much downtime is there?
Moxi gives you a couple of sandpapery days — think windburn that fades. BBL brings brown spots darker to the surface for about a week before they flake away. Most people work straight through it with a little makeup by day three. Sculptra has no downtime; you can go right back to living. Botox has no real downtime either — just small red dots that fade within an hour.
Does laser treatment hurt?
BBL feels like a rubber band snap with a cold plate behind it. Moxi is warm and prickly and takes about fifteen minutes. We numb you first for Moxi, and nobody has ever needed to be talked down from either.
How soon will I see results?
BBL color correction shows up in about a week as spots rise and flake. Moxi texture glow keeps building for six to twelve weeks. Sculptra is the long game — you'll notice subtle lift and firmness around six weeks, with peak results at three to four months. Botox softens in three to five days with the full result around two weeks. Good things take time, but they're worth it.

Dr. Melanie Petro is a double board-certified facial plastic surgeon who oversees every treatment plan. Victoria, our master esthetician, has been performing BBL for ten years and is trained by the very best. Together they adjust your settings in real time so the laser works for your exact skin. Botox plans are mapped by Dr. Petro personally.
